Custom form in Oracle HRMS

Why do we used it??

Sometimes we get the requirements for restricting access and functionalities in form which is normally done either by forms personalisation or custom.pll or standard form modification.

There are two methods normally used.

2) Custom Form

How do we achieve it??

We will discuss about Custom form here.

We take a requirement like

e.g. Restricting the person to enter the batch element entries of a particular type like Recurring, non-recurring. It is restricted by element set.

First we create an element set, on the basis of which, we will meet our requirement.

Create an element set having all the information type elements or how many you may like to include.

Search for Batch Element Entry form and put a restriction using element set.

Now go to System Administrator and create a new function and attach it to menu and attach menu to relevant responsibility and subsequently attach responsibility to user.

  1. HI,

Can you please let me know how can I enable SITS in custom responsibility. I have added the function "Enter Person Special Info" to a custom responsibility and created a SIT. But I am not able to enter any data for a person through that form. I am not even able to see the column I have added to that SIT. Do I need to do any setup for this?

    Can you please help.

    Thanks,
    Anusha.
