Why is the Security Profile Not Considered When Running Payroll

The security profiles are designed to effect the view of the data (i.e. Employees) which can be seen within the application.

The Payroll Processes is based on the associated Payroll, and the assignments within that Payroll.  This is not controlled by the Security Profiles.

If the business requirement is to only include certain assignments within a Payroll, it is suggested that an Assignment Set is utilized as the control mechanism.
